This year’s Summer School will focus on interdisciplinary collaboration within our Collaborative Research Center (CRC).
We have prepared a diverse program that combines academic exchange with informal networking, aiming to foster both intellectual dialogue and personal connections within our community. Organized by PhD students for PhD/MD students, the Summer School is designed to create a supportive space for sharing perspectives and building new collaborations.
Highlights of the program include:
- PhD/MD student presentations reflecting on how interdisciplinarity shapes their research projects.
- Workshops led by internal experts Prof. Dr. Birgit Nemec (Charité Universitätsmedizin Berlin) and Prof. Dr. Kerstin Palm (Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin).
- Workshops with external guest speakers Prof. Dr. John Achermann (University College London) and Dr. Adeline Berry (University of Huddersfield).
- Team-building sessions and networking activities designed to strengthen collaboration and peer support within the CRC.
Together, we will explore the potentials and challenges of interdisciplinary work — not only in theory but as a shared, lived practice within our CRC.
