Early Career Support

The CRC offers an excellent research environment for subject-specific and interdisciplinary training in the doctoral phase. The Integrated Research Training Group provides a unique way of integrating individual doctoral projects into the diverse theories, methods, methodologies and analytical procedures of gender studies beyond their integration into disciplinary research contexts.

With our Integrated Research Training Group, we want to offer all members a comprehensive education in the field of bioscientific, medical and cultural gender studies at the doctoral level and have put together a unique curriculum and a structured PhD and postdoctoral program in English. The curriculum of the Research Training Group includes various modules of further education, such as methodological training, lecture series with internationally renowned scientists, workshops, laboratory visits (also for doctoral students from the social and cultural sciences) as well as events for further training on specific scientific soft skills. The research progress of the fellows is recorded and documented through regular meetings and reports.
